Mother of two, sunset chaser,
music lover
Hello!

A little bit about me...
I'm Heather, a 30 year old mother to two amazingly wonderful chaotic children and wife to the king of dad jokes.

I grew up on the Wirral with the glorious sea air and the beach only a two minute walk from my house meaning I've always felt most at home near a body of water. Nowadays that means a lake at our local park but I'm forever dreaming of breathing in the ocean air.

I love me a good sunset. There is nothing more calming in the world to me than looking out of my back door at the sun setting over my garden.

Music is a part of me. I'll often be found in the kitchen blasting an eclectic mix (my Spotify told me my music genres were dance pop, bard and yearning so take from that what you will!). But honestly, it's mostly Taylor Swift.
Why do I do what I do?
My friends and I have always said that we are much more likely to remember something if someone takes a photo. Since becoming a mother this has never been more true. Whether it's baby brain or just generally too many things to keep a track of I find myself forgetting everything. It's only when I scroll through my phone and look at the frankly ridiculous number of photos, that I remember the all too important yet fleeting moments of my little families life.

There is something so tangible about a photograph. It can freeze a moment in time where you felt unadulterated joy or peace or love. Every one of those moments deserves to not be forgotten.
I'm passionate about documenting people's lives at whatever stage they are in. Whether that's your wedding day or a stroll in your favourite park with your family I want to be there to capture it all for you so you can remember it for the rest of your life. Being able to gift someone those memories to keep forever is something I don't think I'll ever tire of.

Photographs are hierlooms. It's what your children will show to their children and their children and so on.

Be in the photograph.

My Style
From an early age I've always loved capturing my friends and family, just as they are, completely at ease and natural. This is how I still work today, keeping my style easygoing and candid, documenting your day exactly as it happens.

I prefer to leave out the posed photos and instead give you space and time to get comfortable. I will of course direct you a little to start with, if needed, as most people get a bit nervous in front of a camera.

My aim is to tell your story as truthfully as possible.
